This was the best place ever for fish chips burgers. I have been a very happy customer since 2018. I was the very first person to order online when they started the online orders… BUT about now I’m disgusting, disappointed and MAD. The service and food quality over the last 6 months has gone from a 5* to a 1*. Today I sent my $14 dollar burger back. Only to receive another burger worse then the first. I couldn’t believe what I was looking at. This really made me mad I don’t have $14 to waste on 1 burger that I can’t eat. I should have just thrown my money in the bin instead of buying this disgusting disappointing burger. 😤😡
I absolutely love this shop. The chips are delicious. The fish is always nice notice lately that haven’t seen the owners that the servings are very small. this picture is eight dollars normally eight dollars could feed me my partner and my son now I can barely do one
We have bought from 7 Seas on average about once a month for the past 5 years. A few months ago I would have given this place a 4.5 star rating but something has gone drastically wrong the past couple of months with change of ownership/management. What were once thick, large slabs of succulent, golden cod fillets has been replaced with thin strips of small, oily, over cooked dry fillets, which I’m not even sure is cod. The chips are similarly overcooked, brittle and oily. Hugely disappointed. The family could barely eat through a third of the $70 meal before binning the rest. Hope the owners take this review as the constructive criticism it’s intended to be as we try to support local small business. Please go back to the original formula that was so popular, or don’t expect to remain in business another 12 months.
We’ve been coming here for years and the food used to be great but something has changed. I’m not sure if they have new owners. The fish we got tonight was really thin and dry and the chips were pretty subpar. The shop looks pretty dirty as well.

Went there for the first time today and was skeptical as delicious fish n chips are hard to come by. We ordered chips and battered cod and they were delicious! Fresh! Absolutely great fish n chips guys so close to home so nice that we can now enjoy a good feed without travelling far
Have just started coming here and it’s definitely one of the best! So fresh, fast and very lovely people. Portion size great! We got the family bundle of 4 pieces of crumbed fish with chips. Around $40-$50
Favour fish and chip shop no more.
Asked for beer-battered chips and didn’t get them. No lemon. The fish was dry, the calamari was all batter, and the gravy was lumpy.
Staff were arguing with Uber drivers in front of customers and my daughter — super unprofessional.
Ordered online, walked in, gave my name, and was told it was “next up.” After waiting 5–10 minutes, I had to go up and ask again. They hadn’t called my name — just put it in the warmer.
Really disappointing experience all around. Think I’ll be going to a different fish and chip shop from now on.
The fish I ordered here for dinner was well cooked, nice, and crispy. It had a soft butter like melt in the mouth. The chips here was alright, found it a bit too salty for my taste. Wish a little tatar sause was included in the meal. But overall, food was enjoyed.
