Gorgeous first try of The Codfather tonight!
Recently moved to the area and very happy to have gone in tonight. Service was super friendly on all angles, owner and FOH were so welcoming and the food itself was delicious and plentiful. Great value all round.
Boyfriend destroyed his burger and absolutely loved it!
Thanks, team!
$14 worth of chips 6 potato scallops and 1 piece of very thin dry cod a lot of the chips where dry and horrible. What a rip off.
The Cod Father offers a fantastic take-out experience for fish and chips lovers. The fish is perfectly battered—crispy and golden—while the cod is flaky and fresh. The chips are thick-cut and well-seasoned, striking the right balance between crunchy and fluffy. Portions are generous, ensuring good value for money. The staff are friendly and quick, making the ordering process smooth. Selection of carbonated drinks are also available
It was recommended to me and I’ve since been there 3 times and each time was really good. The cooking oil is changed regularly which makes the chips very crisp on the outside and the potato inside deliciously cooked.
We had the cod and a chicko roll which were nicely cooked as expected.
Their premises is very clean and the staff extremely polite.
As you have probably guessed, I’ll be going back for my fish and chips fix.👍
On ordering I automatically asked for a receipt and was only given the EFTPOS read out. When I tallied up the menu prices in my head they had over charged by $2. I let them know and they were apologetic and returned the $2 without issue. Something tells me this wasn’t their first time making a mistake.
Chips tasted nice. Garlic prawns were slightly over cooked, but mum enjoyee them. Chicko roll was tasty. Didn’t take long to have everything prepared.
The fish patty was very off and big, not a piece of fish I’d use for a burger. I’ve had plenty of fish burgers in my life and was the first time I’ve come across two massive bones in my fish. There was no beetroot and there was barely no salad on my fish burger and they give me the massive odd cuts off the tomato for my sandwich, very disappointed and still hungry
Absolute quality – fresh and tasty as. Check the burger out.
Just moved into the neighbourhood and was walking my dog when I came across Cod Father. Thought to just try it with some fish. YUMMMMMM. My new go to for dinners. Highly recommend
