Probably the best fish and chips I had up and down queensland . Highly recommend the battered fish and chip !
The mackerel they use is so fresh and juicy with no heavy batter . Very crispy and delicious with the side of chicken salt fries

We used to buy our fish and chips from here all the time, but when it changed hands it went down hill, the fish was horrible, so we stopped going there, BUT.. last week the fish shop we started going to was closed, so we thought we would give Bamford lane another go, and so glad we did, we had the BEST FISH we have had in a long time, so this week we thought we would try again , and again we had the best fish. the fish was really nice and thick and white and the batter was great, and it tasted really good, we thoroughly enjoyed it, very happy, and will definitely be going back again.

Don’t do it! The worst chips, over cooked, so much oil. Fish bites were leather. Dirty and run down.
Only positive was the potato cakes. All though I’m pretty sure when he battered them, the battery wash used on the bites and fish sticks.
