I ordered a basic hamburger, as I do. I review basic hamburgers from take-away shops that aren’t chains.
I immediately recognised the beef patty used, and it’s not a bad thing but I know where they come from and they are pretty standard.
The rest of the burger was good.
The young lady who served me seemed a little nervous but the interaction was good.
Basic burger only, 3/5. I cannot speak for the other food.
Been here a couple times and still never fails to be the best place around the area for seafood. Fish is always fresh and juicy, chips are never overcooked, and plenty of options to choose from to suit everyone’s budget. Definitely recommend seafood platter for a variety of different seafood and great portion for chips. Their seafood salad is really tasty too, and their gravy is the Aussie staple!
This has been the best fish and chips shop I have found to date. Can get incredibly busy during peak times, but well worth the wait. Great value for money. Our family “go to” is the couples pack with 2 extra dogwood dogs and an extra piece of fish. For less than $50, you can decently feed our family of 4. Awesome tasting food with very friendly staff. Highly recommended. Cheers!
I visit this shop once a week and I am absolutely delighted with the experience every time! The fish is incredibly fresh, perfectly battered, and fried to a crisp golden perfection. The chips are nice thick-cut, crunchy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside—just how they should be.
The portions are generous, and the staff is always friendly, welcoming, and efficient.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place is a must-visit for anyone who loves fish and chips. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The lady at the front was really nice and patient with me while I ordered. The food I think was cooked a little to long as everything was super crunchy which some people wouldn’t have a problem but I literally cut my mouth eating a crumbed sausage. The price was pretty good though for what I got.
Absolutely theee bestest food ..fish n chips is light crispy golden and Devine
Burgers are huge and filling
Scallops are amazing
Battered sausage are massive and so filling
Service is great 👍 plenty parking and tables available for outdoor eating 🤠
Ordered a hamburger the other day, it was quite tasty. My only issue with it was with things like pineapple rings and beetroot are quite large, so when you bite into either the rest of the hamburger comes out leaving a mess. A simple solution would be to cut larger items into four pieces, this would eliminate the issue of half the hamburger ebbing up on the floor. (This is not a major criticism, just a small tip.)
Another thing was that I came in around 7:30pm abs was told they didn’t make hamburgers at that time.
Despite those issues i would still return there as what i have purchased was quite good to eat and the staff were very polite.
Waited over an hour for our chips to be put on to cook. If you want chips don’t come here. All the lady could say was sorry when we have already waited an hour which is now going on an hour and a half! This is a joke. There is absolutely no way we will ever come back for this nonsense.
