I never leave reviews coz I think it’s a waste of time. But if I can save your money and health avoid this place. Paid $20 for 2 snapper and chips. Got served tiny battered gloop that didn’t even taste like fish. I’m was hungry so I tried to eat it. I threw it up and threw the rest away. Chips are good but I’m scared of what their chickens like.. save yourself!
Difficulty calling in to place an order in the past, with phone ringing out. And burger with the lot tonight had very little salad (tiny bit of lettuce, 1 small piece of beetroot, 2 good slices of tomato). Fried dim sims skin were quite tough too.
We ordered a few $7 packs. It was convienent for us as we knew everyone got a pack each and another flatmate had work so he could take it with him. Food was good and the amount was decent . Yes we are likely to come back here again as this is local for us. It’s great they add the lemon with it too very convenient
The food was average, hamburger patty is processed rather than real hamburger mince. Fish, asked for snapper and looks to be basa, the batter very heavy. Chips I asked for chicken salt, there was none on the chips. The only good thing about the meal was the can of Fanta it came with.
The customer service was ok.
Medium chips were a good portion, however they were almost cold.
Chicken burgers had a tiny drop of mayo in the centre- too dry.
Most annoying thing- arrow squid being sold as calamari, and at calamari prices.
Arrow squid is cheap and nasty- fish shops need to know the difference!
I won’t be back as $45 could be spent better elsewhere.

Christine Corner Seafood is hands down one of the best fish and chip shops on the Coast! Every time I visit, I’m greeted with genuine smiles and friendly service that makes you feel right at home. The girls behind the counter are absolutely lovely — fast, efficient, and always up for a quick chat while you wait. You can tell they really care about the customers.
The food? Absolutely spot on. The fish is always fresh, the chips are perfectly crispy, and the servings are generous. Whether I’m grabbing a quick takeaway or ordering for the whole family, the quality is consistent every time.
A special shoutout to the owner — it’s clear this place is run with heart. You can feel the pride and effort that’s been poured into the business. Christine Corner Seafood is more than just a fish and chip shop — it’s a community favourite, and it’s no surprise why.
Highly recommend giving them a visit if you haven’t already. You won’t be disappointed!
Good food. Not oily. Flake was fresh and battered to perfection. Chip crispy and salty and potato cakes melt in your mouth. Not expensive either. Very happy. Is now our go to fish n chips.
Great service! Lovely girls! And very reasonably priced
