Grace was awesome she was so friendly and she was so nice. I recommend this place for fun foods and family would definitely come back i don’t know what I would do without this place
I was honestly nervous going into a quiet shop but the fish and chips were exactly what I wanted. It really hit the spot. Crispy batter, nicely salted chips, great potato scallops and it wasn’t too oily like some other shops tend to be.
Snapper, med chips with potato scallops for 30.
Definitely coming back again. Too good to miss.
Also if you’re a crispy chip fan, they had a lot of crispies to find!

Used to live close by, but never tried Jolly Roger until a couple of days ago!
It’s a pretty on-theme restaurant (in terms of its name, as seen in the picture below) and has a casual vibe to it. Service from the lady is also always nice.
My first visit I got a burger with fries – not my preferred option however they didn’t have exactly what I wanted. Second visit I ordered nuggies and fries. The burger left me feeling achy and the nuggets weren’t too good – just okay.. The fries, however, were nice, crispy and plentiful! Just how I like them. Maybe a little overcooked, but still fine.
Overall, I would return for the fries and the friendly attitude I received from the lady – I just wouldn’t get the burger again 😅
What delicious food. Perfect sizing of food, cooked well. It was very quiet when we went during the week for lunch. They have a bar of you wanted an alcoholic beverage. Will definitely travel back again to eat there.
I am a potato scallop connoisseur, and as places that sell premium scallops come and go, it has been great to find another great provider. Service is second to none. They are licensed, stocking some nice local beers on tap and in cans.
P.S. Mal (fellow reviewer) is out there bagging some of the best restaurants on the coast, pay no mind to their comments.
Excellent burgers ( big and the bacon is reaaaaaally crispy), the service is fantastic and really comfy seats 🙌🏽🙌🏽 5⭐️⭐️
