Worth the drive. Family owned business & plenty of friendly staff . Right from the order being placed by phone , to counter staff at pick-up. Parking can be a small issue as there are other eateries on site. I ordered the Snapper, but it was suggested to me I should try the Fresh Flathead in batter . I did, & it was excellent , I can recommend for sure . The Atlantic Salmon was a good size & perfectly grilled. Scallops were about average, as were the calamari rings. Fresh seafood from the display cabinet is also available. I can definitely recommend this place & I will certainly be back
A delicious meal of battered seafood. The owner guided through what to order and we ended up with everything good on the menu. The sweet potato fries, fresh oysters and the fried snapped were a highlight for us.
Highly recommend visiting them for their fish and chips!
We’ve been travelling Australia for 3 years and love our Friday fish and chips. This is by far the absolute best we have had in all that time. They even deep fried oysters for me which, having grown up with them in NZ, was a treat to find a business happy to give them a try. Everything was perfect, the fish a huge ‘yum’ as were the chips and of course my oysters.
This is a business that cares about what it does. The wonderful energetic woman, delighted-to-listen and provide just what a customer is looking for, was exceptional! Five stars for her, the quality of food and the efficiency around everything they did.
We are here for three more weeks so see you next Friday!

I got this seafood after golf, and the quality of the calamari and the grilled fish that I bought is really nice. I could only eat half of the fish, calamari chip box. So it was really good value, I’m keen to check the other items available and I highly recommend stopping in if you’re heading out of town, or look somewhere on the fringe on the way to the beach that’s less busy.

We had fresh grilled salmon & a burger with the lot. Absolutely delicious. The chips were tasty and just the right amount of crunch. Perfect Friday night dinner.
Took my daughter here this morning as the seagood places on the beach where we were at were not open, hands down best seafood we have had, and we have been to alot of seafood places all up and down the coast. Reccomend the barra and calamari and chips. Fresh, crisp and on point. Great staff as well! Our new lunch stop on the coast. Do yourself a favour and drive 10mins in land you wont regret it. Well done Tallyvaley Seafood.
