Stopped in here for lunch. Busy with a continuous flow of local customers. Had the Hot 1/2 chicken pack. It was a generous serve of deliciously roasted chicken. Tender and juicy. Chips were were very good, nice chunky cut. Peas were plentiful. Covered but not drowning in gravy. Service was friendly and effective. Owner obviously takes pride in his business and the food he served. I’ll go back again.
Need a good local place certainly give them a try.
Chicken snitz pack with gravy was delicious they didn’t cut my chicken but a lot of gravy that made it tasty 😋
Salads good, need to try more stuff. U need to try their potato bake, best! One ive ever eaten so creamy.
Just moved to AV, thought would give this place a try.
Over the phone they said 15 mins…
Arrived 15 mins later, approached the counter and advised the name of my order.
The lady just walked away, and a guy came to the till.. and looked at me like I shouldn’t be there.
Waited another 25mins for our order after paying.
Only saw 2 orders go out in the 25 mins we were waiting.
It seemed like they didn’t cook our order until we arrived and paid, which isn’t the point of calling ahead.
Also noticed larger walk in orders ready before ours.
My schnitzel was small, dry, thin, overcooked and tasted of oil.
My wife’s was thicker and juicy but still overcooked and tasting of oil.
Potato’s in the salad were raw and hard, probably because they were only cut in half.
Drinks were warm.
We are unsure whether we should try again.
So excited to hear their chickens are now gluten free!

I had a great experience coming to this shop. The menu was large, it catered for all my family needs. The standout was the AB pack which was loaded and delicious. The serving sizes were fantastic and I’d highly recommend coming.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, perfect for your local chicken and seafood shop.
Very good service and even greater food. Feeds our family of 8 every week when we’re lazy to cook, the owners and staff are lovely very fast with the orders. Highly recommend
Ordered dinner tonight and was quite disappointed overall. We got the extra-large chips, which were more like a small serving for the price. I asked for extra salt but didn’t receive any, and the chips themselves were flavourless.
We also ordered dippy dogs, which were extremely oily. The combination yiros was another let-down — the chicken appeared to be from a hot rotisserie rather than cooked on the grill, and the lamb was extremely fatty and almost inedible. My family did not finish it.
The customer service, however, was fantastic — very welcoming and polite, which was appreciated. That said, I was also a bit concerned about the condition and cleanliness of the grilling area.
For the amount we paid, it was disappointing that most of the food wasn’t enjoyable and wasn’t finished. Unfortunately, we won’t be rushing back.
I purchased a veal schnitzel pack and it was the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted. The gravy was lumpy and curdly and was not even hot. The chips were mushy and the peas and carrots were stone cold. The schnitzel looked like a bought one from the local supermarket. Will never buy takeaway from there again.
