Went throughbon a busy Friday night, fast and friendly service and food was tasty!
I was starving while riding my bicycle on my way to work and for whatever reason took a different route from my normal when I stumbled across Jacks Challa fish & chip shop and glad I was!! Ordered my usual first order when in a new shop the standard hot dog and it was above par not to mention ready in 5 minutes literally had the right amount of everything sauce, bacon, cheese and reasonably priced at $8.50 I’ve paid a lot more for a hell of a lot worse. So can’t wait to go back and try the Korean fried chicken real soon
So we tried this place for the first time tonight. My son and I had chips and gravy, and my fiancé had the fish pack. The chips were absolutely beautiful. They were not oily or greasy and were nice and thick with no dregs – Thank Goodness! They were also cooked to perfection (not over/under cooked). We also had some potato cakes which were absolutely amazing. It’s nice to finally find a fish and chip shop that serves beautiful food. Hey guys, we will be back 😃
got a family pack, delicious food, great value, friendly staff and quick turnaround. Was more than enough for 3 of us.
Just bought a hamburger with the lot very reasonable priced and very tasty indeed highly recommend $13.90 well done guys i will definitely be back
Ordered hot dog with the lot, double bacon and double cheese, I got 1 piece of bacon cut in half, hotdog was inedible, chips were dry,cold and unsalted. On top of that paid in cash, the woman didn’t know to do with it nor could she give the correct change. Certainly wouldn’t recommend to anyone
Opened the fridge to get a drink and the smell was putrid, like fishy.
The actual bottle of drink smelt the same.
I couldn’t eat the food.
Friends said the chips were terrible and the crumbed fish was battered and soggy.
Never again!
Chicken schnitzel burger used to be great. Now paper thin, doesn’t even cover the burger bun. Won’t order that again. Battered fish is still good, unfortunately everything seems rather expensive for what you get.
