This is a new place opened up in this Eyre. The food is amazing. The fish, the chips and the salad are really fresh and absolutely out of this world! We devoured all the items because it felt like home cooked food. This is our second visit with many more to come.
As a first time customer to this fish and chip shop, I can very confidently say that I’ll be a repeat customer. I was so impressed with the quality of the food. It was fresh, hot, very well cooked and seasoned beautifully. The shop itself is very clean and organised and the shop owner is very friendly and accomodating. I had the butterfish and chip pack with a side of gravy. The batter on the fish was thin and crispy, and the chips were hot, fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The chicken salt they use is amazing also. Highly recommend.

Chicken sharwma yiros, chicken was like rubber, dry, smelt funny, disgusting is an understatement!!!
How is this edible I don’t know… whether it is taste tested by management??

Went to grab a quick lunch meal for the first time was surprised by how good the food portions are and how good the food was it’s an amazing place to visit the guy was an absolute legend. Customer service was a 10/10 would highly recommend visiting.definitely above and beyond.
I honestly can’t fault Uncle Rooster. From the moment I walked in, the experience was smooth and genuinely impressive. Despite being very busy, the wait time was non existent. My order was taken efficiently, food came out quickly, and nothing felt rushed or chaotic — which says a lot for a place that clearly knows how to handle volume.
The quality of the food was outstanding. Everything was fresh, hot, and cooked exactly as it should be. The chicken was juicy with a perfect crunch, sides were very generous and full of flavour, and you could tell real care goes into consistency. This isn’t just “fast food” — it’s food done properly, every single time.
The owner (Jad) and staff were friendly, polite, and genuinely attentive. They acknowledged customers, communicated clearly, and made the whole experience feel welcoming rather than transactional. It’s refreshing to see a team that takes pride in both their service and their product.
All up, Uncle Rooster delivers on speed, quality, and service — the trifecta. Easily deserving of 5 stars and absolutely a place I’ll keep coming back to. Highly recommended.
