My partner and I stumbled across this absolute gem of a place, and I am not exaggerating when I say , this is my favourite little takeaway chicken and chip shop. Customer service always so warm and welcoming, chips soo soo good and crunchy, and the portion sizes are really generous for the price point. The change of ownership was probably the best thing to ever happen to this place.
My sister and I go to this chicken shop every Saturday night. I get the ab pack always well done. Can’t fault the food there. The lady that serves us is just wonderful always smiling and friendly. Makes this place a joy to get food from. Service is the best keep up the good work and I will be back every Saturday..👍👍👍👍
Food is reasonable and service is give or take, have had both great and poor experiences with the staff here in recent months. Unfortunately, despite this being our local chicken shop, that means we often make the trek a bit further to another store. Has certainly improved under its new management though!
Chicken schnitzel pack. 90% severely over cooked chips, 10% burnt schnitzel.
Garfish pack. Severely overcooked chips, thin, tasteless batter.
Potato fritters. Portion sizes are a joke, same issues with the batter
The owners feigned niceness until I had a complaint, that’s when one of them became hostile.
I’m a chef with nearly 20 years experience and Ive definitely noticed a downward trend in takeaway services in that time.
I will not be ordering from here again
Veal snitzel hot pack over cooked slightly burnt unfortunately had to throw half of it out. Just did not taste good enough to eat it all.
After ordering a chicken snitty pack with chips peas and gravy. Apon collection is was told they didn’t have the full amount of gravy for my meal just a little I was told and gave me refund of only $2. Got home absolutely no gravy or peas not to mention the snitty was burnt. Not only was it lied to but ended up making my own gravy instead. Honestly not good enough and very unprofessional. Admit your fault instead of trying to cover up your mistakes
Food and service here is always 10/10! Great selection of salads and sides, and their roast chicken is delicious! We live next to Marion and my son always asks for their chicken chips! Thank you!!
If the rating of stars could be changed to 1/2 stars it would be a more accurate review of how bad this place is. We ordered 3 pieces of butterfish and medium chips.
The smell of the fish was horrible in the car
When we got home we realised the fish was majorly overcooked.. couldnt eat it and the chips were barely edible.
