Seen a Tik tok post regarding this shop & we decided to get dinner from there tonight Absolutely did not disappoint us at all. Food was excellent we ordered Battered Flake battled sausage & chips the size of the flake was absolutely amazing didn’t expect that.
Extremely value for money that’s for sure. Staff were very welcoming & helpful as I did have a few questions. Highly recommend this place & we will be back to check out the burgers 🍔 next time

Wow believe the hype! We stopped here because of the reviews and they are absolutely spot on!!! Best chips in Hobart by a mile and the potato cakes were unreal. Will definitely be back to try the whole menu.

Classic fish and chips and takeaway shop of the kind that made Australia great years ago before dudes got into kale salads and wheatgrass smoothies. Several fish varieties including barramundi if you are a wandering Queenslander. Super friendly service and fair prices. My blue grenadier and crispy chips were the bomb. They even sell detergent and toilet paper. Live long and prosper.
The best fish & chips I’ve had in years.
My grilled barramundi was perfectly done. The accompanying salad is an afterthought in most places but not in this one. This salad was made with fresh ingredients and had a nice, tangy dressing to balance the robust flavour the greens. In all it was a great compliment to the grilled fish.
My wife’s crumbed barramundi (can you tell we’re Queenslanders?) was similarly excellent. Our chips were crunchy but not overcooked and pleasantly seasoned.
You can tell the good food places because that’s where the locals go, and there were plenty of people though in the time we were there.
No doubt, they make good kebabs, but I would still recommend checking your food before leaving the shop. I am a regular customer. Yesterday, I ordered two kebabs without cheese, and at the time of collection when I noticed cheese had been added, the staff acknowledged that it was a mistake. I accepted this, understanding that human errors can happen.The quantity was significantly less than usual, not even half of what is normally served. Unfortunately, the shop was closed by the time I returned home, otherwise I would have gone back to discuss the issue. Better not to accept order if you are short of food quanity rather than leaving the customers disappointed as we pay for the full order.
