These guys are amazing!, they have known me ever since I was a baby and I class them as family. They make the best food in tassie in my opinion. The customer service is incredible and they will always greet you with a smile. They are always willing to help if you’re looking for something. It’s a safest place in gagebrook, they make you feel welcome and not judge you. I love this store❤️ 10/10
Staff are super friendly, helpful and always up for a laugh. I come here regularly for bits and bobs but have taken a real liking to their home-made hamburgers w/lot. Chips are some of the best in Tassie and before being a local, special trips were made for the chippies.
Was Great food and friendly service under previous management,
but now with new management and new staff it sucks, food is not the same it’s bland and at times seems undercooked.
Even the simple chips is bad they are soggy and tasteless.
New management seem rude and unfriendly.
I went to the laona store for the first time a couple of weeks ago last time. I only wanted a couple handfuls of chips for more son and no the minimum is $5.
So I went with the chips over cooked nothing in the inside of the chips and brown in the bin they went. My son ended up have something to eat when we got home. The lady kept on telling me to wait in the car and we will bring it out to me I told her 4 times no I don’t think she wanted my son in the store as he was walking up and down the Isles but he was not hurting anyone he was walking and he wasn’t touching anything and he wasn’t in anyone’s way.
Won’t be going back
Order $10 chips tonight and were foul,my daughter took one bite and asked to not eat anymore and my daughter loves chips,hard ones,soggy ones and more like a min chips,I know $10 to some is not alot but to a struggling family in this economy it’s alot to us. Won’t ever return for food or orde from the store again. Has gone down hill since changing owners. And I think the whole of gagebrook would agree that something has to change significantly soon or they won’t survive in the business industry.
A big thank you to the staff who were exceptional! Thanks to the lady at the reception for her hospitality in her shop. She has a generous soul, is helpful, and has a warm approach to customers! Moreover, the meal was affordable, well-served, and delicious. Thanks to the person who prepared it. In short, I highly recommend it—flawless service!
