I grew up in the area with the old owns keeping us fed on fish and chips and the essentials. Great to see 25 years on 2 smiling faces on the gentlemen when I entered the store and the lovely local chat. True local store! Thanks for the great service
Just got charged $4.90 per piece of broccolli, bought 2 pieces not equal in size, not very big, both soft so not fresh at all, what happened to price per kg? Thought I give this store a chance but obviously as bad as the other owners , about two weeks ago bought some ice cream, which was not frozen properly so it was like eating cream, Never going there again and would not recommend this store to anyone.
Beautiful family run corner store. Expensive but don’t mind to support local. The best corner store fish and chips I’ve had.
The takeaway food here is suss.had chicken burger and chips, a few hours later puking 🤮🤮 it back up.
Thought we’d try the chips again today. Tasted terrible. Oily. Time will tell if I have food poisoning again.
Edit: had one of the homemade chicken sandwich and it tasted bland and nasty 🤢

I didnt expect that id be able to feed a small army but i did expect abit more than what I did get.
ordered min chips and 1/2 dozen battered scallops, the scallops were not scallops there was no roe on them , they didn’t taste like scallops and flesh was nothing like scallop flesh cost $20 I can go to the ocean fish shop at bridgewater and get real scallops and chips for $17.90 never again for me
