Friendly staff, clean store and reasonable prices. Not the greatest batter used. I purchased the barramundi and flake, it was not that fresh but it didn’t taste like rubber. The mussel and scallop were delicious, but then once again the batter could have been better. Great portion on the chips and everything was hot!
The perfect chips – crispy on the outside but soft in the middle. The donuts were hot without the jam burning, and the potato cakes were not only tasty but also enormous. The steak sandwich was well-stacked and fresh. Great food all round, highly recommended!
Went there tonight and ordered flake and other bits potato cakes , chips, dim sims ,
Got home and omg why is the food so bright yellow?
And potato cakes are definitely precooked then redipped.
Potatoe inside was so aweful and hard.
Batter wasn’t nice and was like rubber.
Dim sims little cold in middle.
But everything so yellow.
When ordered I asked how much so I could check my card to transfer cash. Young lad had to ask someone else to add it up.
Oh and paid for a flake and it was the size of a fish bite.
So tiny. Batter wasn’t nice and gross so cut open to find very dark fleshed flake, skinny.
(Reminded me of flat head tail)
Oh and this weather the shop was freezing
Checked my bank later to see what I paid and not sure but flake, 6 potato cakes, chicko roll, half chips, 2dimys is not $43.88

Very good, and I love that they use animal fat to make it instead of those vegetal oils that are really bad for health. Super recomend!!
Our favorite in the Marsh for fish and chips but today same great service as always but the food was terrible and very oily batter fell off calamari.
Very disappointed.
