    Jo served us the best fish and chips in Bacchus Marsh… with a warm smile 😃 Perfect, generous portion of fried battered barramundi fillets with perfect crispy, fragrant textures and seasoning with the fish and chips. Lovely service and shop atmosphere.
    So this is our fourth visit in the past 4 months, and you gotta admire the consistency of the high quality foods this shop serves up.

    Had the best fish and chips at Jimmy’s Fish shop yesterday. The people there were sooo nice. The food was sooo delicious. And such a massive portion. Had enough food for the next day too. Will deffinately come back : ) thanks soo much.

    Got Jimmy’s tonight and don’t normally give reviews but I have to say it was the worst food I’ve ever eaten. The fish was thinner than the potato cakes. It was chewy and we couldnt eat it. Even my cat didn’t eat it. Everything was drenched in oil. The cranksy in batter was just dripping with oil and the potato cakes looked like they were dipped in oil before they wrapped it up. Won’t be going back there ever again. Very poor.

    Would like to say this is the first time we have been here as our usual place was shut. Have to say we really enjoyed our feed. My husband ordered flake and received yummy Whiting. Service was very prompt and great. Will definitely be going back. Thankyou Jimmy’s.😊

    One of the best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time! The onion rings were perfect, the potato cake was awesome and the chips were so good. I scuffed all of those down so fast. The service was amazing as well, she was lovely to chat to! Will definitely come back the next time I’m back up in Baccus Marsh!

    Went today and well that’s the last.
    Have gone back and kept giving another try and ask please cook things a little longer and crispy chips and cakes.
    There was so much oil tonight I could give our cars a service.

    I did feel for the 3 ladies as they were so under the pump which they took phones off the hook cause it was crazy.

    I don’t mind waiting and paying but when you spend over $30 and all that was edible was a hotdog in batter (just)
    The fish was rubber and grey.
    The fish bites smelt funny and grey
    Potato cakes were yellow rubber with the potato actually yellow with a strange look.
    Not crunchy at all and I squeezed one and so much oil came out.

    I understand owner or boss must be away but you need someone that can take charge and check quality and not rush it.

    I love giving local shops a go but have mentioned it to them enough times now sorry guys.
