New owners, beware, as the potato cakes have halved in size. The old owners used to always double up on any of the potato cakes that were small. I ordered 12 potato cakes and when i got home inside the pack were 10 bite sized ones and 3 that were a little bigger. Not fair for $1 each… I called them and they said if I would like to come back they would give me 1 more… GET REAL!! You just lost a good customer.
It is one of the better fish and chips around the area. Not oily and tasty, however, through the months, the size of the flake had decreased in size, and the serving of the minimal chips had also been reduced. Service is not too bad here, but the price could be better. Other than that, not too bad at all.
Great fish and chip shop Huge selection including twisty potato’s for a reasonable price cheaper then most food trucks and the customer service was delightful will be back when next passing through Beaconsfield
I ordered the couples treat and it was outstanding! The flake was fresh and cooked perfectly. The flesh was as white as snow. Extra potato cake, which I might add was hand made. And the chips were crisp and fluffy and the quantity was larger than the minimum size. Over all great food at a reasonable price. 5 stars
Worst service Ever!
I played and was told my burger was ready and just waiting on chips which would be 5 minutes. I said no problem.
20 minutes later I told them that my burger had been sitting there for 20 minutes and they told me my order had been ready for some time but nobody called it out. The girl told me it was still warm! When I asked her would she eat it after sitting there for 20 minutes she just looked at me blankly! I told them to give me my money back. Instead of saying sorry I will recook your order she started giving me lip! Will not be returning!
By the way I didn’t realise that this place precooked its fish, potatoe cakes and dim sims! Probably best to find another Fish and Chip shop
Best fish and chip shop calamari rings I have ever had, highly recommend them! We drive the extra 15 mins to come here! thanks for being reasonably priced and freshly cooked, even more impressive there was a full shop and we still got our order within 10 minutes.
I rate this fish n chip shop highly and will continue to go there but Friday nights hamburger bun should not have been served like this
This is the best fish, chips and burger store in the district. Always tasty and good portion sizes.
