About
The Concourse Catch is a takeaway and delivery fish and chip shop serving the Beaumaris community, with a straightforward focus on freshly cooked seafood done well. All meals are cooked to order, so a wait of around ten to twenty minutes is standard, though phone-ahead orders make the pickup process quick and easy.
The calamari draws particular attention from regulars, known for its light batter and tender finish in generous portions. Chips are a reliable companion, and the broader seafood menu keeps people coming back week after week. The shop is busy at dinner service, a reliable sign the food holds up to repeat visits. Staff are noted for being friendly and efficient, and the overall presentation is clean and tidy.
Takeaway and delivery are both available, with free street parking and a nearby car park making collection straightforward. The shop accepts credit and debit cards as well as NFC mobile payments. Pricing sits in line with what you’d expect from a quality fish and chips spot in the area. Phone ahead during the dinner rush to cut down your wait.

Interesting experience, I felt sorry on the day we went as only two people were working. Order took 45 mins to cook and the place was very busy and packed. Ordered the concourses pack, good deal for two flakes, four calamari rings and two potato cakes with min chips. Fish was really yummy but chips were cold and calamari rings were below average.
The service was extremely slow. The food was very over priced and extremely oily.
I ended up throwing most of it away and going across the road to the other fish and chip shop where they met a standard.
The best part about the food was hearing it hit the bottom of the bin. I would not return to this takeaway shop if it was the last thing on earth. I would rather eat sand and starve to death. Putrid.
I consider myself a regular to this corner store. I tend to come here every 1-2 weeks in the recent months. Every time I come here, it’s a new experience (but always a good one). The restaraunteers who supplied the traditional seafood dish were incredibly polite and accommodating. The food itself was some good grub, nothing special but it holds a good place in my heart. I’d recommend most people to visit if you’re in the area and are in the mood for a quick feed.
Presentation was extremely clean. Lots of people buying dinner. Didn’t have any strange or bad smells. Staff friendly and efficient when taking your order. Wait time between 10-20 minutes as all meals cooke
d after ordering. Nothing waiting. Cooked fresh. Pricing was good and competitive with similar outlets. Extensive menu. A great little place.
Best calamari I have ever had! The batter was so light and calamari so tender and delicious. They are a generous size. Chips were good too! Thank you
Always like their fish and chips. I’ve never had to wait, usually just order over the phone and then turn up 10 minutes later.
Came for fish and chips today. The shop was closed, even though the website said they were open on Sunday. Please review your website.
We often bring the dogs down for a swim on a hot summer day, while we’re at it we get dinner which generally speaking is top notch.
A tad pricey but competitive – we expect to pay the same give or take at any other fish and xhip shop.
Service with a smile – what more could one want? Highly recommended 😊
