We ordered a fisherman’s basket from this amazing takeout place known for their delicious fish and chips. I asked to swap the calamari for potato cakes, and they happily accommodated. Noticed on their notice board, the owner’s commitment to charity work, which is wonderful. The staff was incredibly friendly, and our order was on time. Impressed with their efficiency and kindness!
Walking into this place i was really surprised to see an Aussie lady. She was friendly and her service was amazing.
The hubby has stopped me a few times to say “wow” and “this is the best burger I have eaten”.
Pretty sure we have found a new local fish and chips.

Ordered whilst on holidays, and was almost inedible. The batter on everything stuck to the wrapping and it was all soggy. The steak sandwich was missing salad – had a couple of tiny pieces of lettuce drenched in sauce. Hamburgers with the lot tasted strange/salty and were also missing any lettuce, tomato… potato cakes were burnt, so disappointed.

Called and placed a phone order and the young man who answered was polite and helpful. The service was quick. The food was true fish and chips. Just what we wanted. Staff very friendly and efficient.
I ordered today flake, calamari pieces and fried prawns OMG I have never eaten better fish ever in my life!! The calamari just melted in your mouth ☺️ I definitely will travel from Corio to go to the best ever fish and chip shop in Belmont!! No one else can even compare to Belmont fish & chips 🌟🌟🌟
Food wasn’t bad but I walked 20 mins to the shop and ordered the meal deal and the deep fried mushrooms. Walked back to find that, although the mushrooms were on the docket and paid for, they were not there. If they can’t get such a simple order correct I will not be returning.
