It was horrible and bad..So much batter and too little fish..it was soggy…Didn’t taste good at all.I picked up the fish flake, the thin layer of fish fell off the thick batter..it was fair that my previous experience was good… that was why we went back..Bought a family pack of 4 flakes, potato cakes and dim sim..Unfortunately the only food in the pack that was decent enough to eat was the dim sims..and those were most probably from the supermarket..even the potato cakes we soaked with so much batter..took some pictures for review and threw it all away except the dim sims. It felt like we threw away a bag of flour.
I had the worst fish and chips ever! The batter was overwhelming and the fish was not properly cooked. The chips were soggy and the calamari did not taste as it should have. Overall, it was a completely disappointing experience.
Fresh and delicious fish with firm and juicy. The scallops were incredibly fresh, and the batter was crispy.
The price was very reasonable for the amount of food.
The owner was kind, but there were only two small tables.
The potato cakes are sooo good and they are homemade too! The fish had great batter and was nice and crispy! The staff were so friendly and nice, even gave us an extra calamari. Definitely recommend and we will be coming back. Thanks again!
This is definitely one of the best fish and chips shop around blackburn. The fish was nicely cooked, chips were salted perfectly and potato cakes were delicious. Wasn’t really expecting much but we are satisfied with the food. On top of that, the value pack was definitely worth it, so much food for only $32!
Incredible gluten free food! The staff are amazing. I called and said I was gf and wanted to do an uber eats order. The worker asked for my number and said she’d call me back if she couldn’t do any of my food gf. 10/10 service and food. Amazing gf dim sims!!
One of the best fish and chips I’ve had. A great selection of Gluten-free options. And a fair price compared to other fish and chips shops. The staff are also friendly.
Mine was a takeaway order. Unfortunately, the batter was very thick and oily on the flake and the same with the potato cake.
Dim Sims were delicious but the thickness of the batter and the oily food Is enough to deter me from ordering again
