This is the second time I’ve ordered form here and the food was great. I got the seafood basket ($22.50) and tartare sauce ($0.30 x 2). Service was friendly, food was fresh and ready on time and good value for money in my opinion. Probably enough for more than 2 meals 😋
The shop was empty when we came in (no delivery drivers came in while we waited) but our order took over 30 minutes which would have been fine if someone had communicated that with us. No apologies for the wait. The food was just ok, no lemon given with the grilled flake which was quite dry.
Absolutely stunning grilled fish pack, the food is fresh, the fryer oil is super clean as the chips and potato cakes were not greasy and crisp, the full trunk wooden tables add such a warm environment and finally the staff just wonderful they happy to customise our order

Can’t get enough of Flakes! Great variety whether I’m after a classic fish and chips or something lighter like their health burger, it always hits the mark. The steak sandwich is huge and packed with flavour. And don’t leave without grabbing a hot jam donut unreal!

unbelievably cheap and genuinely good, it’s hard to find one of these places anymore. their menu is huge and has options for everyone. after trying a few times, i can recommend essentially every corner of their menu!
They gave us a whole jar of tartare sauce, answered the phones like absolute legends, and delivered perfectly what was ordered with an OP level of deliciousness that is almost not fair….. these guys have never not smashed it! Proud to be neighbours, and have access to decent & affordable F&C in 2026.
