We heard reports about this fish n chip shop recently and thought we’d check it out. On arrival we found the shop to be packed inside with all the seating taken and due to the cold weather didn’t feel like sitting outside so we continued up the strip to see what other options were available. We ended up back at the shop and by this time some seating inside had become available. The friendly staff took our order and a short wait later our order arrived at the table. We both enjoyed the food probably best fish 🦈 n chips for some years and will be back to have a crack at their burger 🍔 menu
Oh my days! If only I knew you lot were serving a Raising Cane’s style box combo I would’ve come earlier. That Texas toast and the copy-cat Cane’s sauce hit the frikkin spot. I’ve worked just down the road for about 4 years and you’re telling me this now 😭 on a serious note though, this place is boutique and will cost you a pretty penny but the quality is up there with other comparable upper echelon restaurants in the area. If you want cheap and nasty got to McDonalds down the boulevard but if you want a quality feed (and not hate yourself afterwards) then eat here.
Anyway 10/10 will be back next week to blow half my pay cheque again.
I’m literally writing this review at this hour after having a horrible night after eating the burgers. I know I placed the order 6 minutes before closing but you guys could simply cancel the order rather than sending us the raw meat patties inside the buns. Honestly i am not writing this feedback on Uber eats so it wont look like i only do it to need the money back.

We ordered 2 beef burgers last night probably i did the biggest mistake of ordering 6 mins before closing. it was red inside like raw we are not used to eat raw and never experienced that from your restaurant either and he fell sick throwing up all night and having upset stomach i decided to sleep hungry rather than having the whole burger but still fell sick after having couple of bites.
Ask your team to just cancel the order rather than sending raw food to your regular customers and making them hate their favourite food. My husband is calling in sick leave today might looks small to your team to send undercooked food but not normal for us. I hope you understand the frustration.
Always wanted to visit and had the chance today. Fresh and good tasting mainly seafood, they also have burgers and chicken skewers here. Today we had fish and chips, salt pepper calamari, chicken and prawn skewers. The skewers were really tasty, no condiments needed, and the right amount of char on them. Fries were chunky but crispy outside and still tender inside. Fish was steaming hot for a long time, freshly fried and fresh meat. Only comment is I would like the calamari to be crispier, but it was still fresh and good. As a fast service restaurant concept, it’s super busy, you queue to order, help yourself to the water. Still the staff are attentive and friendly if you need help. Tables and decor are bright, crowded but comfy.
Lettuce wrapped awesome burger for those on keto. Also, the chicken poke bowl was great too! Chicken was beautiful and juicy, poke bowl lovely and fresh. Was worried the BBQ burger wouldn’t be filling with no bun or sauce but it was amazing.
Fresh fish not frozen and it makes the world of difference. Some of the best fish and chips you’ll find not just in the west but anywhere.
The place has a really nice vibe, the staff are friendly and attentive. It’s even licenced so you can have a beer or wine as you eat your perfectly cooked FRESH fish.
Their burgers look pretty damn good too. I’ll be giving them a crack next time.

Tried their raising canes dupe for $25 (chicken tenders, garlic bread with the iconic sauce) and it was so good. Portion was large and sauce was generous. The chicken tender batter was quite salty but when paired with the coleslaw, it was bearable. The toast could be slightly fluffier like the original but it was still tasty. We also tried their burgers and they were hefty and juicyyy!
Service was friendly and overall we enjoyed the meal.
I’m really disappointed with my experience here. I found a piece of hair in my food, which is honestly unacceptable and very unhygienic. It completely ruined my appetite and made me question the cleanliness of the kitchen. When you pay for food, you expect basic hygiene and care. This shows a lack of attention and professionalism. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves their hygiene standards so this doesn’t happen to anyone else.
