Tasted good but $16 for two skinny pieces is too much in my opinion. Preparation time was less than the 10 mins I was informed when ordering.

This was a return visit; the review for the first visit is included below.
On this visit we ordered a burger and a lamb kebab. The service was friendly and easy going. The burger was a great tasting fish and chip shop burger – very enjoyable. The kebab initially had a couple of dry bits of lamb and this concerned me; however, that was only in the first two bites, the remainder was a great tasting, tender lamb kebab. The wrap for the kebab, in my opinion, was a little small (in diameter) – it didn’t really wrap completely around the contents. This minor issue didn’t affect my enjoyment of the kebab. Will happily return.

Exactly what we wanted after a couple of hours walking around Croydon. Flake was excellent. Chips were great. Yes, a simple order but very happy with it. Fast service.
Just moved to the area and nearly didn’t try because of the unfair reviews. The grilled fish is absolutely delicious, fresh and not over oily like some. Standard order min chips + 2 potato cakes, 2 crab sticks, 3 dummies, 1 grilled & 1 battered flake was $34.
A couple reviews seemed to be linked with service but we found it to be polite & 15 mins on a Saturday night. Better than the 2 local places we had living in Donvale and Albert Park.
I ordered a souvlaki through Uber Ears and it had more fat than meat. Chunks of fat that couldn’t be missed when making it. I rang the shop and spoke to the owner who suggested I bring it back. When I said I had eaten everything apart from the chunks of fat she just said that happens and nothing she could do. I said it wasn’t worth the money I’d paid and asked for a partial credit which she said no. She over spoke me and was quite rude.
Tbh I wasn’t going to ask for a partial credit, I just wanted them to know but the manner in which she handled the matter was shocking. They’ve lost me as a customer. Good customer service goes a long way
Consistently good food. Generous serves. Great owners. The “fish bites” are our favourite. They are very tasty and quite big. Their food does not leave a greasy feeling on the top of you mouth.
CHIPS ARE VERY DRY. Doesn’t taste like food. Not worth a cent. Appearance is very deceitful. Spend your money elsewhere.

My order has been perfect whether there are many customers or if it’s quiet, their consistency is astounding. Always perfectly fried and delicious. This is absolute top tier fish and chips, the kind of fish and chips that would be perfect on the ocean!
