My partner and I had our second take away order from hooked and last night and we LOOOOVE IT!!! We’ve just moved back to the area and needed to find a decent take away.
The fish is juicy and the batter stays firm and crispy for the whole meal, the chips are soft and fluffy on the inside and cooked really well. We get the special pack for 2 which is $29 and you get sooo much food for that price. It’s not often you can be satisfied for under $15pp now days.
We’re lucky this is our local fish and chip shop because we refuse to go anywhere else.
Simply incredible. The best fish and chips in the area. Beautifully thick and juicy fish that’s battered amazingly. The chips are delicious, and the potato cakes are on another level!! Perfect home made potato cakes, where the potato tastes like it’s been cooked in stock almost. I’ve never had a better potato cake! This is our new weekly fish and chips shop. The owners and team are so so lovely and so generous, with extra potato cakes and free sauce.
Best fish and chips in the area by a very long way. Fish was so fresh. Beautiful potato cakes. The whole family loved it! Finally found our new local.

I decided to try hooked last night and was not disappointed. Their menu is reasonably priced and their chicken souvlaki was absolutely delicious. Their staff were so lovely and helpful and I was pleased to see that the place was air conditioned and cool (even on a 41degree day)! Best fish and chips in the area 🫶🏼
Tried this takeaway for the first time as it’s nearby.. wow! Lovely fish n chips, everyone enjoyed their meal and it was all cooked to perfection! The lovely young blonde girl who works there went above and beyond.. great customer service! Thank u!!!
