About
Blue Pacific Fish & Chips is an Echuca fish and chip shop operating seven days for lunch and dinner, with dine-in, takeaway, and delivery all available. Outdoor seating and on-site parking make it a practical stop for families, tourists, and solo diners passing through the region. The venue is wheelchair accessible, with a suitable car park and entrance, and accepts debit cards and NFC mobile payments.
The menu covers familiar fish-and-chip fare, and the dim sims draw a regular mention from those who order them. Lunch pack deals offer a reasonably priced midday option. Food quality sits in decent territory for the area, with portions noted as filling.
Service, however, is a recurring point of concern. A pattern across a notable number of reviews points to unfriendly or abrupt interactions with staff, and some diners have found condiments such as tartar sauce absent from orders unless specifically requested. These are things worth keeping in mind when visiting, particularly during busier periods.
For a casual meal in Echuca with the convenience of delivery or a dine-in option with outdoor seating, Blue Pacific covers the basics. Phone ahead during the dinner rush to avoid a long wait.

$49 worth of seafood and no lemon or tartar sauce served with the meal. Lemon was provided when asked. Then they wanted to charge an extra $2 for tartare which should’ve come with fish at any decent fish and chip shop…what an absolute joke this place is!
Fish ended being inedible and went in the bin. Worst seafood we’ve EVER bought!!… Eat here if you like wasting money. They also only offer cash purchases and expect you to walk to an ATM. The worst customer service EVER!
AVOID
The female owner is abusive and belitting in front of other customers
My food waz cold and greasy, Absolutely disgusting
I got the Lunch pack plus a couple dimmys. Price was reasonable. Customer service was bang on. Food was good, above average. Only pitfall is its cash only, but there is an ATM across the road
Rudest customer service we experienced today, we asked how much longer our food would be in which she replied “I can’t make the Fryers go any faster” then basically through our food at us. Although the food was yummy, won’t return to support a rude business
If I could give ZERO STARS, I would.
This was the WORST fish and chips I have ever purchased and the WORST customer service I have ever encountered.
The owner was unbelievably rude and aggressive – the most unprofessional person I’ve ever seen managing a shop. I witnessed her chase a woman and her children out of the store and down the street screaming terrible, nasty words at them, right in front of the children! Simply because the woman only had her card to pay with (as the shop only accepted cash). The woman had even gone and got money out to pay for her fish and chips and the manager still wasn’t happy and still abusive.
The manager then proceeded to aggressively process my order and also yelled at me for only having card.
You might think what I witnessed has influenced my opinion of the food, but it hasn’t – the food was just as bad. It was dry, hard, unpleasant, and completely inedible.
Avoid this place at all costs.
I witnessed the owner of the shop today verbally abuse a woman and her child for simply sitting at the tables in front of the shop while they were closed. Yes. While they were CLOSED, and not opening for another hour.
She yelled at them till they left, and even then was yelling at them while they walked away.
The younger girl with the woman looked terrified and the owner just kept yelling. What kind of treatment is that?
I will never buy from this shop if they’re going to abuse innocent people for nothing. That was a horrible scene.
Verbally abused by the Karen owner for sitting at outdoor table whilst shop was closed. Wanted to waste time of police on this matter. Do not ever think of using this business when so many more welcoming fish and chip shops around.
The lady who runs the business is the rudest woman I have ever come across which makes sense looking at the other reviews. Abusing people who are sitting out the front whilst her business is closed and making comments on their appearance is disrespectful. As a tourist it’s a bad look for the town.
This owner displayed one of the worst attitudes I have ever witnessed. She aggressively abused three young men simply for sitting at a table while the shop was NOT even open. Her behaviour was completely unacceptable and unnecessarily hostile.
She proceeded to hurl a series of insults at them. She even went as far as telling them they were ugly and directly telling my nephew that he was unattractive. Watching an adult speak to young people in such a degrading and cruel manner was shocking. She then continued yelling up the street as they walked off. Her conduct was completely disproportionate and deeply unprofessional.
After reading other reviews, it appears that this type of behaviour is not a one off incident but a pattern. It is extremely disappointing to see someone treat people this way, and with an attitude like that, it is hard to imagine the business attracting or keeping customers. This kind of behaviour is simply unacceptable.
