I recently visited and was blown away by the difference under the new ownership! The food is fresher, tastier, and cooked to perfection. The fish was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and the chips were golden and crunchy just how they should be!
The new owners have done a fantastic job with both the quality of the food and the friendly service. The place feels more welcoming, and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. If you haven’t been here in a while, definitely give it another shot you won’t be disappointed!

Good honest fish and chips. A no frills, fairly priced take away. The menu is extensive with lots of choices. This was my first visit and I had Baramundi, Blue Grenadier and chips. Everything was excellent and generous. The service was friendly and they were busy, always a good sign. I didn’t have to wait too long and it was well worth it. I thoroughly recommend and will return. It’s just across the street from the Grapes Hotel 👌 👍
The battered flake was horrible. It was mushy and really wet under the batter. The flesh didn’t flake apart like normal, it just turned to mush trying to pull it apart. The potato cakes were dry and tough, like they sat in a bain-marie all day. Not very nice at all, and a waste of money.

No guts in the potato cakes, flakes over cooked as well as the scallops. Steamed dims sims just warm.
No return for me
