Ordered a chicken souvlaki on Sunday afternoon. Got a stale frozen reheated wrap with one frozen skewer of chicken that was fried straight from the freezer. One bite and straight to bin as I did not want to get sick and there was not much to eat anyways. All this for 14 dollars – got to be kidding me. Never felt this guilty throwing food before. Don’t understand the 4.2 rating.
We only had hot chips but they were delicious. Clean oil and cooked well.
Next visit will have to try the potato cakes….. stay tuned.🙂
Fish and chips, and fried dim sims were terribly undercooked. Awful food. They also just lumped all the food in a flimsy white paper bag. It was as if when one wraps food scraps for garbage bin and not for someone to eat. The other fish and chips places put food in a white box. When we called to give feedback the woman yelled at us. Very rude people serving in this store. How disrespectful! Please don’t waste your money in this place. The positive reviews are obviously fake.
Best fish and chips. Perfectly seasoned with chicken salt. Steam dim sims are awesome. Souvlakis are awesome. The flake is awesome. Overall awesome.
Thursday lunch – Nice streak sandwich with the lot and steamed dimsim. Decent salad tender steak. Worth a visit directly across the road from Bowans. Old style fish and chip shop ambiance nice. Outside table and chairs.
Do not know what the food is like, just stood in there for 5 minutes while the guy was out the back watching videos on his phone.
Did not look up or come out from the back.
Won’t go back again extremely bad customer service.
I have over 20 years experience in customer service and retail so know what i am talking about.
Oil was burning and smoking in 1 fryer, oil was to hot or burnt, am a chef so know about oil and caring for it, obversly not cleaned often enough, staying near and can smell the burnt oil when i go outside……..
We are very happy to have a wonderful fish and chips take away. The food is always one of the best meals. We can strongly recommend.
Come here at least once a week. Pretty good burgers.
