Reservoir's fish and chip shops come in strongly rated overall, with a moderate body of customer reviews behind them and a few shops rating especially highly. At D & S Fish and Chips the surveyed menu listed plain chips at $6.60, a single piece of fish at $9.40 and mains typically around $11.00, running from $9.40 to $18.50. At Yarra Avenue Seafood & Grill the surveyed menu showed plain chips at $8.50, a single fish piece at $17.40 and mains typically around $18.00, spanning $10.00 to $25.75.
Banff St Fish & Chips is very strongly rated, works as takeaway, and has potato cakes as its signature, with chips, fish freshness and value all praised in reviews. Yarra Avenue Seafood & Grill is also very strongly rated, carries the widest fish range recorded here, and is noted for halal food, a salad bar and vegetarian options. Fish Hut is well rated and offers dine-in, takeaway and delivery.
