Some delicious fish and chips, there chips are some of the best I’ve had, there fish and dim sims are always great quality, and there scallops are a must try, they are probably the best I’ve had!

Loved going to this fish and chip store however after the terrible service on Good Friday. We will never order from the store again.
Called at 4:30pm was asked to hold, left on the phone for 4 mins while I listen to the guy take fresh new orders one after the other. I hung up and called back. Ordered taken 4:35pm.
We waited over an hour. I called while my partner was inside waiting. My partner said he could see that there has been a box with blue gren written on it sitting there for 30mins so far.
So I called because I wanted to check how long until the order was ready.
The lady said oh.. they haven’t even put your grenadier on. Give it another 15-20mins.
I msgd my partner who was standing in the store watching and he waited another 20mins and finally the order was packed but the part that let us down the most. Not the 1.5hour wait. The fact I was told the fish wasn’t even cooked yet. They grabbed the box that my partner was watching that had now Been sitting there for 45mins and put it with our order.
My partner said how long has that fish been there.. The guy said 15’mins. My partner said please don’t lie to me. The guy started yelling at my partner saying what do you want me to do… throw it out?? What you want fresh fish?
Then my partner said I’ve been watching that box sit there for 45mins now and you’re lying to my face. I didn’t say throw it out.! I just asked a question about how long it’s been sitting there..
The guy didn’t answer and replied with “ you want soy sauce!” My partner said yes please, not sure why you went off at me for asking a question. Grabbed the food and left…
Chips were white and not even cooked long enough , just dry and cold
Worst service ever!
Usually decent and consistent quality but lately it’s been hit or miss. It’s either good or really bad and tonight was really bad. Chips under cooked but flake over cooked and burnt so my daughter wouldn’t eat it. To let a flake go out to customers looking like this is just wrong. Where’s the quality control?

didn’t receive our scollop😔 was very sad, chips and sausage in batter weren’t crisp, tasted and looked as they’d been sitting out for a while. potato cakes and nuggets were good however
Had a full conversation about getting lemon on my flake — even joked about how other fish and chip shops don’t bother with lemon anymore. Thought we were on the same page.
Get back to the job site, open it up… no lemon. Not a slice. Not a wedge. Nothing.
If you’re going to talk lemon, you’ve gotta walk lemon. Pretty disappointing.
