Firstly service was poor. They were both to busy talking instead of serving. You have to look around things on the counter to see the fish menu. I asked where their barramundi comes from and got no answer🧐….ordered grilled fish which came out looking nice though with minimal salt and zero lemon.
Very basic and will not return as there’s far better places to go to.
Got order wrong (2 x grilled flake instead of fried) and when I rang up, they just said they didn’t know what to do about it. Never even offered to try and rectify it by inviting me back to get the correct items. Fish was dry which is the exact reason I order fried instead. Although this more local, we usually go to another shop farther away. Now I’ve been reminded why.

I’d love to give a review of the food however this is difficult when majority of my order never came.What I can do is a review based on the “service” received instead.
I placed my order with Door Dash delivery. Bag was delivered however missing majority of the contents I paid for. I called the shop straight away and after a bit of difficulty understanding what happened they offered me a refund.I explained I didn’t want a refund,I still wanted my dinner tonight so please send it.I was hungry hence why I ordered food to start with.
That was an hour and a half ago.Still no delivery of missing food. Shop is closed so I’m assuming it’s not coming?? Guess I don’t need dinner tonight.

I ordered a burger and it was cooked so nicely, I live an 1 hour away and was here to see family however, after tasting their burgers I’m going to have to be a regular customer, I asked for the cooks name and he said his name was Augustine, this was one of the best burgers I have ever tasted and can see that he places great efforts and wit in order to make a great meal.
The absolute best potato cakes, perfect size and so well cooked so crunchy. Asked for 4 and received 5. Great service. Well done.
This has been our go to local fish and chip shop for several years now. Always our first choice. We usually order the burgers, or one of the packs with dimmies, fish, potato cakes and chips. The chips are always cooked well, not underdone or overdone and not too oily. The fish is absolutely delicious! Love the potato cakes and the dimmies. The burgers are great sizes and fresh buns. Highly recommend going here if you’re a local or in town. Never been disappointed.
Quick and easy online ordering. Fish was fresh and tasty, chips fluffy and perfectly cooked and potato cakes were impressive (simple but so many places make them greasy and wrong). Good prices too.
