After reading the reviews of our new local Fish & Chip Shop – recently moved to Kilsyth – my expectations were low.
I am pleasantly surprised and happy to let you know that we just had the most delicious fresh flake, potato cakes and chips! The only disappointment was the quantity of chips for a minimum of $4.
My husband had a burger with the lot, and while he wouldn’t rave about it, it hit the spot.
While we waited we noted how busy the shop was, with many locals popping in and out. That’s a good sign to me!
The service was friendly and we accepted their apologies for the wait – which wasn’t too bad for a busy Friday night.
No disappointment here 🤗
They are getting 5 stars from me to counter-act the previous low reviews.

Love this place! We go a lot! To start the service is always 10/10! The main guy is super nice and friendly every time I call. All the staff working are nice too. We haven’t had a single thing wrong with any order in the 5years we have been coming. Probably the best fish and chips I’ve had. Burgers are great! My husband loves their souvlaki. Chips are always cooked perfectly as are the potato cakes and dimsims. My husband says the onion rings are always cooked well also. They always make the orders quickly and I’ve never had to wait more than a couple of mins if ever. I have no idea why this place isn’t packed all the time! Do yourself a favour and give them a go 😊👍
The fish and chips are excellent. I had grilled fish but it was such a small piece that next time I’d order 2 pieces
Amazing Service. Under New Management. Run by a beautiful couple that always goes over and beyond to provide a perfect service and always greets you with a smile. They are very polite and courteous to their customers. Food is always cooked perfectly. Highly recommend.
