Got a burger The Lot at a very descent price, delicious, generous ingredients! I was lucky to get a taste of their homemade hot chilly sauce – oh lord hot it was! Loved every bite. Definitely recommend. Lovely people and lovely food!
Excellent customer service. The burgers are huge and on a real bun (not brioche). Chips were nice and crispy. Excellent value. Perfect stop on your way through and way better than any other fast food option. Phone ahead as it gets busy.
Food quality and quantity were both good
My wife and I had hamburgers with the lot, and the children had a crab stick and chips. They were great tasting and great value, and the staff were lovely and our food was ready in 15 minutes even though they were very busy, would go here again next time we are travelling through.
A colleague once brought in a big batch of chips from here for our work social lunch, and they were absolutely delicious — so we decided to try it for dinner on a Friday night. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. The chips tasted as though they’d been par-cooked, and the batter on both the fish and calamari rings was quite thick and a bit gluey. My husband wasn’t impressed with his plain burger either, and everything was lacking salt.
I’d heard such great reviews about this place, so I was really hoping for better. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and the buzzer system was handy — it meant we could take a short walk while waiting for our order.
Very poor quality ingrediants had been used. The dough was very thick and un cooked on the fillets. Callamaries also had the same issue. Chips were very oily and tasted like re-thawed ones. Behind the counter person behaviour was totally average. They used to have great quality. Never recommend it.
OMG!! I haven’t had Takeaway from Sale Guthridge Parade for some time exactly how I remember it Chips potato cakes batted hotdog crab stick nuggets all cooked to perfection staff are really polite and friendly highly recommend.
Ripper value. Huge burgers that were tasty and real meat. Lovely staff. Will be back when cruising through Sale.
