About
Branditt Avenue Take-Away has built a well-rated reputation in Shepparton, and its most talked-about feature is something genuinely rare for a suburban fish and chip shop: a dedicated gluten-free menu. For locals living with coeliac disease or gluten intolerance, finding a shop that goes this far is a big deal, and people have travelled across the region specifically for it. The gluten-free batter in particular draws strong praise, with many regulars describing it as the best they’ve found anywhere in the country, let alone Shepparton.
Beyond the gluten-free offering, this is a casual, no-fuss takeaway serving the kind of food Shepparton families rely on during the week. Dim sims are on the menu alongside the core fish and chips range. Prices are noted as reasonable, and the shop offers both takeaway and delivery, making it a practical option for households across the area. A kids’ menu is available, and the venue is well suited to families.
Free parking is available on site and on surrounding streets, and wheelchair-accessible car parking is provided. Payment by credit card, debit card, or NFC mobile is accepted.
For anyone in Shepparton with dietary restrictions, or anyone simply after a reliable local takeaway, Branditt Avenue Take-Away is worth keeping on the list. Phone ahead during busy lunch and dinner periods to save waiting time.

Placed order, the owners of the busines severd me and communication was not the easiest. Their reasonably priced but when I got home and unwrapped the food, I and the family were disappointed. Not much chips for 4 dollars. The dimsims were very well cooked (photo).and I payed $1 for the smallest fish bite (photo) ever. Probably won’t go bac….😞👎
I never usually review anything. I’m celiac and couldn’t believe my eyes moving to the area from Melbourne and having a local gluten free fish and chips!!! I’ve tried all the gf fish and chips Melbourne has to offer and branditt is so much better and priced amazingly. Now I’ve lived here a year and a half and never previous was a regular for fast food however these guys are worth it! Now noone is perfect, once out of the hundred times ive been there the batter was a little tough but it still tasted better than everywhere else. My partner is gf and loves their food as well. Staff are pleasant and polite.
The only place in Shepparton I’ve found that has a full dedicated gluten free menu. And it’s fantastic food. I love the batter and quality of all meals purchased so far. I can’t tell you how exciting it was for me to finally be able to eat fish and chips again.
OMG the very best GF fish and chips I have eaten anywhere in the country. Possibly the best F&C I have ever eaten😍. A big call but true.
Really disappointed after reading the reviews. The souvlaki used tzatziki, rather than a traditional Greek sauce, and it was no thicker than a 20c piece. Very sparse on ingredients and flavour. Chips were okay but I certainly wouldn’t say best in Shep. Maybe a bad night
battler venue, but excellent fish and chips, ESPECIALLY the gluten free offerings (the only place in Shepp that bothers)
Good food but chips are absolutely terrible do not recommend half the chips are just fried batter soaked in oil and the rest are just regular chips but absolutely filled with oil, even after they go cold and dry they are still filled with oil.
Disappointed with the chips, half were overcooked and full of oil.
