Definitely the best fish and chips close to Glen Waverley, which there aren’t many to choose from. The Burger was good sized and made well, and reminded me of my childhood fish and chip treks to get a good burger. The potato cakes were also quite good and cooked really well.
I suggest to come to this place if you’re near glen waverley, I promise you it is best one around, trust me
This place serves great crispy fish and chips! We’ve made this our regular fish and chip shop. Crispy chips, crispy fish, cooked well and super tasty. This is now our go to from now on.
We stopped going here when we moved to the area as ‘Angelo’ had got too old and quality slipped. and we were going to Wantirna Mall fish and chips (as that is also a great f&c shop)
So glad I got lazy and re-tried the local shop again due to a time constraint. The new owners do top notch fish and chips, and service was prompt and good. Was completely surprised by the now great quality! (less salt and fish no longer swimming in batter like previous owner) Had to come leave a comment.

Been buying here for 40years. The new owners are so hit and miss. Sometimes cooked well, other times overcooked. About a 1 in 5 chance it will be ok.
Tonight was the last straw. They cooked the fish in the same oil as the rest of the meal. There was a super strong fish odour on everything it made us sick just smelling it. When we called them up they didn’t seem to care.
It’s simple. If you buy a Greek fish and chip shop that’s super popular and busy, DONT change anything and you will succeed. You think your saving money by changing things and buying cheaper items, but you’ve essentially dropped the key thing that made it one of the best in Melbourne.

I ordered a chicken souvlaki which tasted so bad and undercooked, I called the restaurant and said the same and they were least bothered to give me a proper response. They say that none of their customers have a problem in regards to the concern I am having and they ask me to pay and get something else because they failed to provide proper food.

Strongly don’t recommend this place, don’t go to this place and waste ur money!!!
Everything was so salty we couldn’t even finish it. Chips were stale and potato cakes were lathered in salt while battered hot dogs were practically injected with it. Ended up a huge waste of money, not to mention waiting 20 minutes for it was a total waste of time.
