I ordered ahead told 20-25 minutes as it had just opened and it hadn’t been started, BUT the food is SO reasonable to the extent I drive instead of going to the ends of my street to two fish and chip places. Foods excellent and fresh, place is clean, and staff pleasant. I haven’t had fish and chips for decades literally until this find. It will be a sad day when this place closes or changes hands.
QUALITY HAS GONE DOWNHILL BIG TIME.
We order fish and potato cakes and requested no salt, but when we opened it at home, everything was covered in Salt!!! Yikes, there was so much salt it made my lips crack. And some of the potato cake was the size of a potato nugget! Ripoff!! I’ll be trying a different fish and pot cake place from now on.
Have been buying here for years, but after the last few times of getting discusting rubbery flake, we will not be getting from here any more. The flake was grey in parts with grissle through it. Don’t even know if it was flake. Better to buy somewhere else.
***THE WORST QUALITY SHOP IN MY ENTIRE LIFE***
Last night I ordered the Double Fish Pack. When I brought it home I noticed the Dim Sims over-fried and charcoal color. I also ordered a South Melbourne Dim Sim and it was over-fried tough dry and charcoal color too.
The two Potato cakes were disgracefully small (size of a 50c piece and all thick batter with only 1% of potato inside. They were overcooked and tough. Why wouldn’t they visually notice this as unsatisfactory!!! Its blatantly obvious…
The two flakes were like they were frozen and defrosted for cooking. The meat was like soggy puree with crumbling batter around it. They were quite small in size.
The Quality control and care factor of this shop is a BIG FAT ZERO. If I had looked into the box before paying then I would of declined taking it.
Please future customers look inside the package before paying. You must make your own quality check first. They DO NOT CARE what it looks like or have no common sense or care factor to satisfy customers. Its just a production line of fast food to make quick good money!

Food is great but after ordering $114 worth of food and I was charged $28 dollars delivery. Would have been cheaper through uber eats. What a joke. Not again 😩
Beautiful fresh juicy fish with crispy batter. Delivered hot. Fantastic service. Crispy delicious potato cakes and oodles of chips.
Overall 1 star. The onion in some of the onion rings was black. Off onion. When I called to notify the manager, he tried to tell me that they sometimes use purple onions when run out of white ones. One was clearly from a red onion, but a couple of the others where discoloured atleast one being black. Black is off, as is greying onion. The potato cakes where also undercooked. Being have worked at a fish and chip shop before, I am well aware when potato cakes are undercooked, all 3 of the potato cakes received where just that, undercooked. Very disappointed, and will definitely think twice when it comes to where to order fish and chips again.
I thought you guys where on the ball as we have never had a problem before, it seems, at least this time, the ball was dropped many times.
