Once again, fabulous food, we drove an hour out of our way to go here. It was worth it… best fish n chips in Victoria… Fisherman’s feast for 2 is more like for 4…food coma to follow…too good…if you go near Ballarat go here!!
Wanted to try a new fish and chip shop. Pleasantly surprised. Batter was good! Chips, potato cakes, flake, sav in batter all amazing. Definitely recommend and will be back

First time trying Fishery Chick and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a change in Ballarat. The batter was light, very crispy and fish/seafood was delicious. I normally ask for my chips to be extra crispy but didn’t need to in this case. I’m sure they use fresh oil too. Will definitely be back again. Well done Fishery Chick!
Maybe the finest chipper I have been to in a very very long time the best chips great gravy perfect potato cakes and lovely service don’t let the appearance of the place put you off this is a gem of Ballarat get around it
Love this place. Haven’t had any bad experiences yet, and I’ve been eating here fairly regularly for about 6 months or so. The cray sticks are the best I’ve ever had. Chips are crunchy. Nothing’s too oily or dry. Highly recommend
Ordered a small chips cheese and gravy, 1 Flake and that was all I had for tea. Hour or two later, throwing-up, all night long, couldn’t even hold down water 🤮 weekend officially wrecked 🤢 And no I do not have food allergies, consumed plenty of Flake and chips cheese gravy, this is just one of those times the seafood must have slipped the net.
Got a a Chicken Gravy Roll, Chips and a drink deal for $11.90. The price is fantastic, the feed is generous and the taste is great. The staff are always lovely too! Absolutely wholeheartedly recommend.
