Bloody Amazing! I came in because the guys across the road didn’t have the salad I wanted.
When I got to yours I was like “ok I’ll have fish and chips” I tell you what Im so glad I did!
Seriously delicious! The crunch on the potato cakes and the fish was perfect and the chips were delicious. I’ll be back for sure 🤩
Great happy and helpful workers/proprietors. Excellent prices, and very nice food. Ballarat’s Best Fish n Chips and I should know (it’s my favourite food). I drive from Alfredton each Sunday to buy them
Unfortunately I have been here plenty of times before and put up with cold food. This time I went back to report the problem and was confronted with a very hostile situation. The owners were in complete offensive mode and would not accept that the food was cold. They picked apart the food with their fingers and threw it in the bin in front of me. With them unwilling to acknowledge the problem or refund/recook the food, I left the shop shocked at their terrible attitude. I won’t be back….
Poor – do NOT bother with online orders – 3 customers were waiting for our orders in the store for 25minutes and kept asking them to check and they said no not ready – then proceeded to give us meals that had been sitting on a shelf since we had gone into the store – making orders and leaving them without calling out numbers – totally disorganised – only 2 people were served in 25 mins and they were phone orders. Even if you interrupt they won’t check if it is your order that is on the shelf. Not good enough – three separate families have wasted their money – 2 people working on a Friday night an no-one telling you your order is ready ffs.
Really wanted to like it, customer service was great. But it was so oily 😩 felt like we drank oil with a side of fish and chips. Tried to revive it cause we spent over $50, in the air fryer later that evening and it had a puddle of oil at then end, did taste better. Won’t be back unfortunately.
Deciding to visit my favourite fish and chip shop for dinner tonight was such a good idea. Hot, fluffy, crispy chips. A really nice sized piece of flake in my lunch pack. Everything was flavourful and salty. Just what I wanted. Friendly, polite and grateful staff.
Tried to buy a drink here, was told $5 minimum. Banks stopped charging fees for eftpos machines years ago.
Very yummy food will call on there again
