Been here a few times and food is super tasty and good quality.
Took some pictures of their current price menu and a few daily’s specials which are up in the shop..
The Nz hot dog are huge and super tasty..

Good Value for money, we tried a large selection off the menu including, fish cakes, squid rings, crab sticks, crab claw balls, home made spring rolls, prawns and fish with chips. Must say squid was cooked to perfection and all of it was pretty good and very crunchy. Only fault was fish was very soft but we added extra vinegar on it so may have been what caused it…. we will be back.
There was a good steady stream of what seemed like repeat customers which is always a good sign
Firstly I wanted the fisherman’s basket and wanted to swap out the crab sticks for more chips.. he said this was not possible with explanation. He said it could only be swapped for fried pineapple.
When we got our order the chips were only 1 small handful and the biggest chip was about 4cm long but only a few of them were this size.
The fish and all the seafood was extremely fatty (the oil was not just oil.. must have had a high percentage or animal fat unlike good fish and chip shops). The after taste of the oil was very bitter and you could feel the fat residue on the roof of your mouth. The fish was completely tasteless! I wouldn’t recommend this place! The batter lacked salt or any other seasoning.
First time coming here and not an overly good experience. The guy that took our order looked like we had inconvenienced him and couldn’t crack a smile if his life depended on it. We felt like we were a nuisance. Fish was “ok” and the chips were so under cooked that we had to put in air fryer to cook through!!! Pretty shabby considering how much competition there is around here. Moving forward, if you guys are having a bad day that’s cool just don’t take it out on your customers or get a job that makes you less miserable!!!

I’ve had fish and chips here from when I was a kid. Love it. Getting pricier with inflation and chips aren’t as much as they used to be but sometimes it’s the perfect meal to hit the spot in my hungry stomach. Keep up the great work 😁.
