Fish Tails was recommended to us by a local business. We were not disappointed. We both had the $18 fish and chips, plus I had an extra $3.50 fish cake. The huge piece of fish each was thick and tender and the amount of batter was just right. There was nothing wrong with the chips. Mostly large, thick, and well cooked. We had vinegar and salt; just right. The fish cake was bigger than I was used to. Maybe a little more seasoning on it, but that’s my preference. We’re in Carnarvon for a few weeks so will definitely go back.
We had driven from Perth all the way to Canarvon, knowing we were planning to have fish and chips that night from this caravan. I was at the Ampol Servo, asked the lady behind the counter, where’s the best fish n chips in town. She said, the caravan and its just pulled up at the tourist park across the road. Perfect timing. So, off we trot. We were the first customer ofthe day. 12 Oct. Lovely people, Ben and Leona. Great food, the snapper was absolutely delicious. Cooked to perfection. Cheers guys!

My husband and I just shared a seafood basket and 3 sea scallops. The best tasting and value fish and chips we’ve had in a while. The snapper was thick, white and tasty; the crab sticks were fresh and well cooked; the prawn twisters were just lovely and the sea scallops were fresh and tasty. Thanks for a yummy meal Fish Tails!
Stopped by for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The snapper was fresh, perfectly battered, and flaky, while the fish cake had great seasoning and a satisfying texture. Everything was cooked well and tasted delicious., if you’re after tasty fish ( can’t speak for chips as I didn’t have any) this place delivers on flavor.
