When I walk in they ask “how many scallops?” My review is for the potato scallops only. They are hand made in store and I think part pre-fried then re-fried on the day. Super double crunchy greasy heaven. Every one is unique so i always get three or four and save the crispiest till last.
Just ate the worst burger I have ever had in my life, dry bread barely a sliver of bacon old pineapple.. I’m not even sure if the beef was beef but it resembles cardboard very poor small hamburger for the price i paid and i sat in store to eat it. Also bought fish that was dry and barely warm ,most likely been sitting there for a while, was unable to complain as I don’t think they understood my attempts at communication but are quick to take your money..
Steer clear of this place I’m going home now to be sick after the horrible lunch I tried to consume
You can get a full plate of chips with a shnitty and gravy for a good price. I also recommend the Big Breaky with chips gravy hash browns and tomato with a coffee for 27.50.
A good quantiy of food for a reasonable price.

Improving. Food is fresh cooked. Good service nice atmosphere in store. Wish they changed the gravy though and used beer batter. The hamburgers are large and recommended. Worth the visit. Good value food.
The guy was rude. The coffee was utterly shit. Put salt on my my chicken wings. Though I told him not not put em.

Nassis Snack Bar is the best takeaway in Canberra. The food is unbelievable, the prices are great and the service is amazing. My go to is the chicken schnitzel burger or beef burger, both huge, tasty and great quality. Would highly recommend trying when around the Fyshwick’s area.
