Very happy with todays meal, i had plain burger/combo = burger chips drink can. For 13.50.
I like to buy any plain burger as it gives an idea of how good other burgers will be.
And this lical takeaway did not dissappoint.
The Pattie filled the whole of bun, the lettuce was crisp fresh, tomato was tasty, there was just enough BBQ sauce and onoins to make it all that homemade burger taste.
The Chips were good, thick cut and enough for addition to the burger.
It came with a Can and they had Sugar free options- something we all need.
Parking was convenient and close, their was a coupla tables to sit and eat which had napkins in holder. Needed thing as i am messy.
I took pics of older menu and so prices may not be exact for an up to date costing.
I found the staff willing helpful.
It seemed like they knew most peoole who popped in for a feed. Good Sign of an approved local takeaway.

Excellent service, very clean and tidy and functional atmosphere. Excellent proportions, chips are crunchy and fluffy in the middle, not oily and you can tell by the way it tastes. Great works Burger, and fish. DEFINITELY HIGHLY RECOMMEND 💯💯💯💯💯. Much better than alot of places around here
Absolutely the best fast food around. Tender calamari rings, non greasy crispy chips, tasty hamburgers and kebabs, fish has been delicious also. Friendly staff and fast service. Ultra clean shop and hygienic food handling. Highly recommend trying S&G”s Takeaway if you haven’t already!!
This place is the best takeaway shop around hands down. The burger bun seemed around 15cm with meat and toppings to the edge. Chips were amazing 👏 and the portion was HUGE for what I paid by today’s standard. Helpful staff, good food, good value, good job!
Good old fashioned fish and chip shop, their food is great, scrumptious hamburgers, absolutely awesome hot chips( actually the best hit chips I’ve tasted for years) and the fish is fresh and light not to oily, service is fantastic and shop is always clean and tidy with great value for money. If you’re looking for a good wholesome feed at reasonable prices this is definitely the place to go!!
Excellent crispy house made scallops, battered cocktail fish, impressive menu to cover all tastes and options. A lot better than other places I’ve been to locally.
The menu isn’t disappointingly small or simple / scratched out of options.
My burger I usually have to custom make at other places was ‘just on the menu’ normally.
Our 1st time and we placed a fairly large order ahead of time and they had it all waiting for us when we arrived, exceptional service. We sampled a good chunk of their fried menu options with plenty of party fish, scallops and fair sized burger.
Very impressive test run and worthy of the prior reviews.
My burger was a thing of beauty in size and construction.
I had to think about it but the literal only thing I can ding them on is I wish the chips could be fresh cut instead of frozen or option for fresh cut perhaps in the future.
Their chips are fantastically cooked, crunchy and great but a person in the family doesn’t do great with frozen chips due to sulphites and reactions to them.
Not a big deal really, hand cut / fresh cut chips are a bit of a rarer thing these days with prep time / space for prep etc but would be rad in the future as a ‘option’ if viable at all.
Punching way above average.
