OK service, quick wait times.
Food Is ok but very expensive.
$1.70 for a single fish cocktail and they are very small.
Large fries was same size as others in the area provide for small size. $13 for what is effectively a small chips. Chips were frozen type and not cooked properly.
Works burger was small compared to others in the area and was lacking in flavour. Burger was falling apart after only a couple of bites because the bun used is the wrong type and too soft. I’d rate is around a 5/10. There’s a better place just up the road in Toronto.
The only saving grace, and why this isn’t a 1 star review is the junior burgers. The kids loved them and they were generous size for the price.
I wouldn’t have minded if the chips were better quality and portion.size of chips was inline with the other fish and chip shops in the area, but the really small size broke this camel’s back.
Service was welcoming and friendly but the place was poorly lit and needed maintenance to make it look like a place you want to visit.
Update: I live locally, as if that matters. I thought I’d give the place a try because I am local and have been living here 3 months now. With this attitude to a bad review, I certainly won’t be back.
Had to change my review because this place is just a rip-off. Don’t tell me again that you can’t get potatoa that cheap. How does Dora creek and Fiona’s give you decent amount? First photo $15 of chips…
Was out with family and gave them another shot for $20 chips in second photo. Hardly enough to feed a couple of kids.
Been going here ever since I was a little kid, now in my 20’s and no longer being local I still make the trip. Food always consistent, the taste of nostalgia. Hands down my personal favourite takeaway shop, thank you for all the delicious food over these past almost 20 years (for me)

Burgers consistently Awesome, owner knows you by name, service is great, happy to pay for quality consistent food. Best takeaway going!

Food is very average at best! We went to order tonight (Saturday) apparently they close at 7pm….we were there at 5.50 and they had closed at 5.30…why…bother 🙄
We live 20 minutes away and still come here instead of our local take aways, been coming here for years. Food is always yummy!!
