Every time I travel to Lake Macquarie I make it a point to buy the great food at this take away. The fish & other seafood is cooked perfectly.
And the chips. How do they do it?
It’s perfect. Crispy, crunchy on the outside & delicious all the way through. And it’s always consistent perfection. Fresh. Delicious.
I ordered for my client.

1 serve of chips
4x potato scallops
The fish looked amazing and was extremely meaty.
The chips are hand cut
The potato scallops are hand battered.
It was so nice to see ‘real’ potato’s being peeled and someone was hand battering the Pluto pups and potato scallops.
I would highly recommend this shop.
Margaret and her team here are amazing. I needed some catering for an upcoming event and she was extremely helpful, she even replied to a message I’d sent whilst they were away on holidays! The food has always been amazing here, the service is great and the portions are huge. Couldn’t recommend Parkview any higher.
Our 12 yo child and my partner got food poisoning from a kebab from this place. It was 100% the kebab. They didn’t eat anything else.
I called to try to politely let the shop know and they said “I don’t know what to say, everything is fresh here…thanks very much, bye”. The guy who I spoke to wasn’t rude but wasn’t very responsive either. Perhaps you could suggest that you’ll take a look at your food prep and service processes to ensure that everything is up to scratch so that no one else gets sick. Ruined the first day of our holiday.
Fish was fine, chips were dry and horrible. I do not recommend.

We got a Sea Pack, 1 crumbed fish & gravy. The fish, calamari, crab sticks & fish cocktails were fresh, hot & tasty. The chips were fresh, hot & perfectly cooked. The gravy was the best I’ve had in a long while. Well done to the staff at Parkview takeaway, Swansea 👍
