One of the best fish and chips I’ve had! The set meal was $9.50, hard to find such prices in Sydney. The burger was amazing too and the portion was pretty big.
Tried the fish and chips and the “plain burger”. The fish and chips are crispy and delicious and they come wrapped in white paper, perfect for eating on the beach or near the water. The plain burger was a little pricy at $7 but they have “tap to pay”. The burger is quite juicy and full. The square bun was. Touch dry but the ingredients make up for it. It’s got a beef patty, bbq sauce, lettuce, tomato, shredded carrot and beetroot. Overall I’d recommend this place. Friendly staff and good location. Worth noting though, at the moment you can’t eat in the shop so it’s all take away
Stumbled across the cute fish & chip joint on the drive back to Sydney. We weren’t disappointed. Super friendly staff and food was delicious! We ordered the fish and chips and the Mexican burger. Generous serving size for the price. The chips could have been cooked a little longer for extra crisp but that would be the only small critique we had! Will be back if we’re in the area 🙂
Good, but found a battered piece of hair with it. This was about $25 of food. Potato scallops are rather small. Decent value, feeds 2 people who don’t eat too much.
Was recently in Woy Woy from Brisbane to see family. Had only been to Batty’s once before a few years ago, but I remembered their hot chips were great. Ordered an extra large chips with chicken salt and they were fire! $12 for a huge serve of thick cut chips that are probably the best I’ve had. Please dont change because they’re awesome guys!
Was on the train from Newcastle to Sydney and I got off at Woy Woy to get fish and chips for lunch and hop back on the next train. I do not regret my decision. Food is delicious and the staff where very nice
Down from the Gold Coast visiting. Called in for Fish n Chips.
Food was very good and cooked well.
We all thoroughly enjoyed the food and would return.
A local sitting by the waterfront eating his fish and chips recommended this place to my dad and I.
$18 later, 6 pieces of fish and an obscene amount of thick cut chips, went home with happy bellies. Cheaper than Fisherman’s Wharf but just as good!
