Update: Disappointing and misleading. I have been here 3 times – each time a sign they’re taking a break. They aren’t open when they say they are. Change your opening times on google to avoid people taking time to go there when you’re not open.
Lovely food and service. Had the fish burger and chips. Chips were thick cut and excellent.
Everything perfectly cooked. I liked the option of buying the burger and chips together to save money as I didn’t need $7 of chips. Thank you.
Food is good but the service that i had from this girl , was so good. She was very kind although being her first time working she said . She was Good talking with people and great . Her name was Maisie , great worker!
We called up, ordered a burger, chips and TWO serves of the mac & cheese bites, they repeated it back to us and everything was correct. We drove 15 mins, the girls were rude & had no manners, we drove another 15 mins home only to open our food and find they’ve only given us one serve of the mac & cheese bites. We called up and told them, they were so rude on the phone and told us we ordered one and told us to drive back if we want more, didn’t offer anything for the inconvenience either. Not only that but they overcharged us. On the board there was a $10 chicken burger special but they charged us $16.50 for it. Respectfully, teach your staff how to do their job properly.
I’m not exaggerating when I say they do the world’s best chips and calamari. The chips are crispy, golden and perfectly salty, and the combination of calamari and their house sauce was a match made in heaven. The burgers were seriously good too, juicy, full of flavour and super satisfying after a big day on the coast.
On top of that staff are genuinely lovely, friendly and courteous.
Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area – this is definitely going to be a regular spot for me ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Great location and the family cod meal was good value. Fish was great – The kids went back for multiple helpings. Service was great, and it didn’t take long.
Unfortunately the service let this place down. Staff struggled with the POS system, which slowed everything down and made ordering frustrating. More training is definitely needed to ensure smoother transactions. Also only 1 cash register at a fish and chip shop right across from the beach?! I just feel sorry for the poor young ones who have to cop it at the counter serving.
Additionally, the staff came across as disengaged and low-energy, which made the environment feel unwelcoming. Also very forgetful and having to repeat everything more than once. Paying more attention to customer service and staff engagement would make a big difference. The place could also do with some music for ambience, just feels very awkward and not inviting.
Food was also okay, got given the wrong fish and the flavour of the calamari was not very nice. Chips weren’t seasoned well.
BEST FISH AND CHIP SHOP I’VE EVER BEEN TO! Everything was cooked to perfection and full or flavour ! Pineapple fritter was to die for ! Staff were polite and efficient our order was quick but so fresh !
We got fish and chips for lunch at this place yesterday. We were served by this beautiful young person named Maisie.
So happy to see young kids that are respectful, impressionable and wonderful.
We ll come back again😊
