Nice place newly opened but really good food. My grilled snapper was awesome and Calamari probably best in the Brisbane. Totally recommended

This is the best fish and chips I’ve ever had here in Australia. Everything is wonderful, always being taken good care by the chef and always being served the freshest food. I really recommend this place
Finally – a fish and chip shop in Brisbane that knows how to make a light batter! Most F&C’s in Brisbane crumb all the seafood snacks, but Boatshed does an awesome battered seafood stick, sea scallops and they even give you an option for how you have your calamari (S&P style or crumbed), your chips (super crunch, plain, gluten free or beer battered or you can get sweet potato instead) as well as your fish (battered, crumbed, grilled or gluten free). I also loved the fluffy potato scallop.
Fish and Chips is a special treat so it’s important that it’s fresh and tasty when we get it. Boatshed delivered on that front and there are still lots of menu options I haven’t tried so I’ll definitely be coming back again.
Poor lady was on her own but she moved as quick as she could. We got a seafood basket and was pleasantly surprised that it was hand cut calamari, scallops with the roe AND actually prawns as the prawn cutlets. Very happy.
Had a really nice GF battered cod and GF chips, all done in a separate fryer and wrapped in a different bag. All very reasonably priced (better off calling to order than using the online menu), and the fish was massive!
Got a delicious feed here for our family of 8 on Xmas night. Snapper was incredible, chips super crunchy and the calamari was amazing. Super friendly service, will definitely be back 👏🏼😀
Great service and the crumbed snapper was delicious – unfortunately the family sized “super crunch” chips were very soggy but still tasty.
