Wow! What a fantastic experience! Seriously massive serves of food, staff with a friendly smile and quick service. A great local fish n chip joint. The potato scallops are MASSIVE!
I went here for a 90th birthday celebration of a family member and was pleasantly surprised by how great the service was and especially the taste and size of the hamburger 🍔 I had. I probably haven’t had such a great takeaway shop burger for years, it was a works burger packed with salad, cooked onions, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pineapple 🍍 and a home made beef patty, it looked huge coming out and I had to cut it in half to eat it. Absolutely delicious 😋 other’s ordered fish and chips with salad 🥗 and they also all enjoyed it. Highly recommended for anyone who wants quality fish/chips and decent burger around the area 😋

Happy to have found good fish and chips nearby our place 🙂 Cooked perfect, and super tasty. Also only a quick wait. We dropped in on Sunday night, looking for food as we had run out due to TC Alfred. We ordered crumbed cod and chips, it was really good. We will now be regulars!
Fish on line in Aspley absolutely makes the best fish burger I have ever eaten. You won’t be disappointed, that’s for sure!! 😁
As a man of a certain age and shape, I try to avoid fish and chip places. I don’t like seafood. As an experienced eater, my doctor advises me to avoid anything deep fried and sometimes I even listen to her. So grabbing a hamburger, chips and gravy from this place was a bit of a strange choice for me. When I got home I was annoyed, because I thought they got my order wrong and I would have to go back. Nope. The package that big was actually the hamburger. My god, what a hamburger. I didn’t think with everything getting smaller and worse and more expensive you could even get food like this anymore, let alone for this price. I would pay $45 for a hamburger like this not $15. Normally I have to pay extra for salad, and even then it’s just like burning money because they don’t put any on. In this case I’m actually glad I didn’t assume there wouldn’t be enough and ask for more. And so fresh! Not like the sad green tomatoes at Subways. I went back the next day to ask some questions and get a second example, just to pull apart and examine rather than (just) eat. They make their own beef paddies, and they are so beautifully lean I couldn’t squeeze a single drop of grease from it. They cut their own pineapple slices too, nothing from a can. I love the fact that beetroot comes on the hamburger by default, might be the last culturally Australian business left on the block. Most importantly the ratio of salad to lean meat restores this hamburger as a healthy choice. It is a hamburger so different from what the word means now, I would be completely unembarrassed to take a first date to experience one. The entire place just screams authenticity. The kind of place where the waitstaff don’t really jump to attention because they are probably all related to each other, and your order comes in an explosion of clean and crisp old style paper. This is all even without mentioning that my chips were slightly undercooked exactly as I requested. Try getting them to do that at McDonalds. If you are under thirty get in here and find out what a hamburger used to be. If you are over thirty, get in here before it’s gone. This feels like your last chance to eat an almost extinct animal.
Ordered fish and chips by Uber eats. Driver arrived with the wrong order. Said he would go back and bring my order but unfortunately not. The owner rang me and said her son and daughter in law would deliver it to us
That’s good service!!!!!!
Thankyou from Angela.

My dad mentioned this place one day when he was helping a family member move. This may be the best fish (cod) burger I’ve ever had!
