We buy from them weekly and we are always very happy.
They replace the oil in their fryers regularly so everything tastes fresh as!!
Fresh, crispity, crunchity fish fry goodness! And nice friendly staff! We’re 2 Americans who recently moved to the area and have had fish and chips at this spot twice now. Both times were very good, first time they were very busy and we got beer battered fish plus a bunch of other stuff cos we were feeding 6 people, my dad and husband had their burgers and said they were great, and tonight I had the seafood basket which was breaded (or crumbed as Aussies say it) and my husband had the scallops and chips, it all came with plenty of yummy tartar sauce, fries were cooked to perfection, seafood was fresh and succulent and crispy on the outside. This little shop had better fried seafood than most places we’ve been to down the Oregon & California coast. We will definitely be back for more!
Save your money and go somewhere else. Waste of money. Food is overpriced and not nice to eat. Got my son the nuggets and chips only got 2 of the 3 nuggets that were burnt and dry as were the chips. The chips tasted of the burn flavour from the nuggets. I got the grilled chicken burger which was a frozen processed crumbed patty and was deep fried! My partner got the hamburger he said was fine but looked like a frozen patty was used as well. I felt rushed by the server and he talked so fast and was hard to understand.
Ordered a works burger, chips and 2 potato scallops- They didn’t put in the potato scallops and didn’t put the beetroot, egg, bacon, pineapple and cucumber on the works burger. Highly dissapointed considering we didn’t get what we payed for and spent over $30 bucks for it.
Made the mistake of not checking the reviews first before getting $250 worth of food. Absolutely disgusting food. Waited over 1hr for the food for it to go in the bin. Burnt chips, undercooked fish, old oil tasting food. Don’t buy from this place, waste of money.
Been here for years. The food, especially the clean (non-fishy) fish bites and beer battered chips are delicious. The staff have always greeted us in a kind, appreciative and humble manner. The store is clean too. There are numerous fish n chips shops closer to us but we travel over 20 minutes because of the quality and service.
The worst fish & chips I have ever had. Purchased 2 pieces of grilled fish, large hot chips and 12 pieces of calamari. Fish was laced with salt. Calamari was way over cooked. Chips were nice, however, we were given cold gravy out of the fridge! We were not given tartare sauce, it tasted like potato salad dressing! All this for $63. Absolutely disgusting. This business seriously needs to get a new cook and just do better! Thanks for wasting my daughter’s hard earned money, she just wanted to buy her mum and sister a nice lunch to say happy New year! This was on Wed 31st Dec 2025.
This place had become one of my favourite places to order. I am hoping they have just had a busy day and not been able to keep an eye on the quality of food they send out. My order recieved today was burnt and inedible.
