This is our go-to for takeaway and we go here often. We usually have a works burger, fish and chips. Today I got a works burger, calamari and chips.
I stopped at about 12:00 on a Wednesday and there was one person ordering in front of me and one person that’s as waiting for their order.
The range is quite impressive – you’ll find breakfast options, many variations on burgers and what you would expect from a takeaway shop like this one. There was also a range of soft drinks and some in-house made desserts.
I was served promptly and with a friendly attitude.
The burger is always good value – big patty, lettuce, bacon, cheese and tomato with sauce. It’s a hunger buster that doesn’t fall apart.
The calamari was one well – crunchy without being car tyre consistency. The chips were thick cut and done to perfection, which is what we have come to expect:

Would like to update my review after tonights meal, will never in my life buy their so called sweet potato scallops again, they used be as big as your hand now theyre the size of a 50 cent piece. For $48 the meal was very meagre. I love the sweet potato options especially but not anymore. And we prefer our calamari without hair in the batter thanks.
Very disappointed for a couple reasons. I spent $50 and when my order arrived there was no fish but they still sent the lemon and tartar sauce just weird. Next issue is they advertise a picture of a burger that’s made with mince that looks good but I honestly would not know what they made the burger with 100% it’s not mince and it is not what they advertise. Hole order went in the bin!! Compare there pic to what I got absolutely disgusting 🤮
I spent $30 on food here and it was completely inedible. First, they messed up the order and forgot the chips, which meant I had to wait around for them to make more while the rest of my food went soggy. The staff were rude and unhelpful the entire time.
To make things worse, my daughter choked on a bone in the fish. When I inspected it further, I found multiple bones and HAIR throughout – absolutely unacceptable and dangerous.
I phoned the store to let them know, only to be told “we didn’t know” before they hung up on me. When I tried to call back, they simply wouldn’t answer.
This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Do NOT go to this store – highly do not recommend especially if giving to little ones.
Absolutely disgusting. Stopped coming here years ago because of how over priced and underwhelming their food is. Was absolutely bewildered to try them again tonight to find out they are far worse than before. Almost $50 for unslated chips, cold ribblets, 2 of the smallest pieces of fish. Waste of time and money coming here and will not be back again.
we went there as my mum says it’s always okay, it was fine at the start we ordered she read it all back to us and had the order all correct, they then forgot our burger meal so had to wait an extra 5-10 minutes ontop of the 20 minutes we had already been waiting for and then when we got home we realised they had forgot the chips in the meal they then gave us a normal crumbed sausage when we paid extra for a bacon and cheese one.
This place has horrible customer service, each time we order they always get it wrong now this is ridiculous they always forget something and the fish size are like guppies. You are paying over what you should be getting. The pork Riblet is just a piece of small pork drowned in sauce and the stuck on two plain dry burger buns. I don’t recommend this place!!!
The fish and chips are variable. Sometimes the fish is quite thin and small. The chips are also variable. Sometimes nice and crisp but fluffy inside and other times just not cooked enough.
Prawn cutlets are the pre-prepaired ones (like I&J) and definately not worth what they charge.
That time, the calamari was overcooked and the overcharged me. I ordered 2 fish and chips with a serve of calamari but they charged me for 2 single serves. That was about 10% difference in the price. I did query it and was refunded the difference.
I will still go back but just be aware.
