The Owner, Michael, and his family are very friendly and cater to locals with great service at their One Stop Shop here at Ipswich.
Michael’s family have been a staple at their general store, fish, and chip shop since 2001. They have served the locals here at Ipswich with their delicious take aways, cold drinks, newspaper, that odd grocery item that you need, like, right now. Instead of going to central shopping, you can get it at the One Stop Shop.
Today, I happen to pass by because I got a bit pekkish, and rather than Maccas, i thought, why not support local business. Michael prepared a beautiful steak sandwich with chips(chicken salt a must😁). Went down well with a Dare Ice Coffee and a bottle of water.
So, if you are ever at Ipswich, the One Stop Shop is at the corner of Woodend and Burnett Streets, across the road from Ipswhich Boys Grammar…
Stopped in here for lunch over the weekend. Ordered battered cod and minimum of chips. The fish was beautiful! The chips were average. Not yukky not amazing. But I’ll definitely be back for another lunch one day. Best fish I’ve had in a long time.
Freshly cooked fish and chips. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Good service.
Unfortunately got home after paying $10 for a steak burger, I received a paper thin slice of steak but only on half of my burger. (Size of palm of my hand) which again I wouldn’t mind if it weren’t paper thin.
Folks have been in local business a long time. ALWAYS happy, friendly and welcoming. And the burger with the lot to die for
Just ordered our first lot of fish and chips for dinner and it did not dissapoint! Was so delicious will definitely be back.
